【本報訊】網上經常流傳「古靈精怪」的幼兒營養資訊,例如初乳特別好、個別動物的奶粉營養較佳,甚至指吃得過多紅蘿蔔,會損害幼兒肝膽功能。</div>

兒科專科醫生歐陽卓倫(圖)斥這些資訊無科學根據,呼籲家長勿誤信傳言。<br />
他表示,不少家長誤解子女吃太多紅蘿蔔,皮膚會變黃,擔心肝膽功能受損,減少向年幼子女餵服紅蘿蔔。他澄清,深色蔬菜如紅蘿蔔、南瓜等,因含有食物色素,嬰兒進食後,或會加深皮膚顏色,但對身體無害,家長毋須過度擔心而要子女戒口。<br />
另有家長憂慮子女營養不足,在幼兒飲食中加入額外補充劑,如維他命C、魚肝油等。<br />
歐陽卓倫強調,半歲或之前的幼兒服用母乳、奶粉等,基本上已含有足夠營養,不用額外添加。半歲後幼兒亦可從均衡飲食中獲得,籲家長勿誤信坊間聲稱可提高免疫力的產品,以免為幼兒帶來反後果。</div>
